digging history on a local beach

In early march we had a blast of a few storms it was the 2 through the 4th i think. Well this came with some nice high tides that pushed and pulled a lot of sand off a few of or local beaches. Cutting into the dunes that have not been touched by the sea in many many years. The sand was just flat enough for the waves to hit a few of these back beach locations. These are a few days of metal detecting finds from one spot that was a popular picnic beach spot in the late 1800s to the 1920s. the coins are all from the late 1800s forward the oldest is a 1851 1dollar gold coin the spot is now under 10 feet of sand again
